Sacrament of Confirmation

The Confirmation Sacramental Program at St John of God parish is available for Catholic children in year 6 upwards. The preparation will happen in the 2nd term of school. There will be a parents information meeting and four weekly lessons for preparing the children.

  • Children must have celebrated: First Reconciliation & First Holy Communion
  • Must provide a copy of the baptism certificate.
  • $30 each child for the resource. To be paid at the parent information night.

Parent Information Night (children not required to attend) – Wednesday, 8th May at 7pm in the Church.

  • Commitment Mass – Weekend of 11th/12th May

4 week preparation course in the Parish Hall

Wednesday, 22th May

Wednesday, 29th May

Wednesday, 5th June

Celebration of Confirmation: Saturday, 15th June at 5pm in the Church. 

  • More details of the program will be given at Information Night.
  • It is important that you enrol your child well in advance before the program begins.
  • To REGISTER, fill in an application form from the parish office or from Fr Richard after the weekend Masses. 
  • Return the forms as soon as possible.
